JavaScript
Semicolons

by Florian Keller

const myVar = true;
const myOtherVar = false;

if (myVar === myOtherVar) {
  doThis();
}

const myVar = true

I personally find it very hard to read without semicolons, like when i see one i instantly know the line ended, it reduces my cognitive load, and that is the only reason... specially considering i like to look at the code without them xD tried several times to get rid of them, but it becomes annoying when scanning over unfamiliar code.
